Flower (flax) seeds contain 30-40% oil that remains inside the seed when heated to be warmed again and again. Unlike grains (like rice) that lose their ability to retain heat as the water cooks out of them over time.

How to use

Microwave: Remove cover and place the pad in the microwave on a plate, heating for up to 2 minutes. 

Oven: Preheat oven to 350F. Remove cover. Once it reaches temperature, turn off the oven and place the pad on a pan. Allow to warm in the preheated oven 12 minutes.

When to use

As-needed for relief from period discomfort. Safe for overnight use.

Sweet earth with a hint of chamomile.
