Flower (flax) seeds contain 30-40% oil that remains inside the seed when heated to be warmed again and again. Unlike grains (like rice) that lose their ability to retain heat as the water cooks out of them over time.

How to use

Microwave: Remove cover and place the pad in the microwave on a plate, heating for up to 2 minutes. 

Oven: Preheat oven to 350F. Remove cover. Once it reaches temperature, turn off the oven and place the pad on a pan. Allow to warm in the preheated oven 12 minutes.

When to use

As-needed for relief from painful cramps. Safe for overnight use.

Sweet earth with a hint of chamomile.

    So happy to have this!

    I was initially skeptical of this but can happily say that it stays hot for quite some time, fits my pelvic region perfectly and without any shame I tuck it into my pants while I’m at work.

    Lovely heating pad

    This heatpad is great. I love that it is shaped perfectly for my pelvic region. It holds the heat for quite some time. I have used it for my lower back as well. I really loved the option the customize the cover for the heatpad. A small touch but I appreciate that option. I bought the black sherpa-like cover.

    postpartum perfection

    I ordered this heatpad at the end of my third pregnancy as my old flax heating pad (from another company) was due to be replaced. I have been using this heat pad for the last 2.5 weeks after giving birth for the cramps that come with breastfeeding and it is truly so soothing. The shape is ideal, the cozy teddy/sherpa cover is a nice touch, and it doesn’t have any weird smell, just barely a clean/soft scent of flax. it stays hot longer than any other flax heatpad I have owned prior. it also is a great shape for the lower back. 12/10. I would recommend this and I also think it would make a great gift for someone, such as a friend who gets terrible cramps or as a postpartum care package.

    The best heatpad

    This thing actually is perfect. I thought it was huge when I opened the box, but it’s the right size. They’ve clearly tested to accuracy.

    I’ve been heating mine in the oven as per their instructions, and like the effect better than a hot water bottle.

    Somedays: Please add the oven instructions to the put away bag.
